Because if you kept it on we would all see the truth
Its unbelievable how quickly people can change
How little you can trust them
As they speak shamelessly
Lying through your teeth as you lie to my face
And destroy my loyalty

You don't care about it though
Your allegiance is to yourself
As long as your safe you won't sweat a drop
About how anyone else feels
My trust in you no longer exists

As I watch you speak with a snake's tongue
And I'm waiting for you to put on your next guise
I sit and wonder
How can I believe anything you ever say

Losing Your Religion When I leave this world and enter the next
What is in store for me?
Will I meet my true creator?
Or dance with the devil?
Will I be viewed with a pure heart?
Or am I far too corrupt?

But what if there's nothing
and my existence ends...

Does my uncertainty effect my destination?
Or is it unrelated?
Will I meet those who left before me?
Or are they long gone?
Should I work to get there?
Or did they decide for me?
Will I enter a new plane?
Or just be put back on this one to repeat myself?

But what is I'm wrong and they were right?

Introspection As the pen touches the paper, it makes a connection
One that allows me to make a deep reflection
I don't use this to critique my complexion
Instead I use it to do a real inspection
And change the things I don't have my affection
Like when I get nervous I get a weird inflection
Or how always look too much for perfection
So now I will try to remove that simple infection
Then I see more problems that need ejection
Now I realize I must change my direction
Because it is time to put the good things into collection
and stop noticing every little imperfection
Buy its too late my pen rose from the paper like a resurection

Thunder and Lightning I sit in darkness
Then it strikes
It's power is destructive
The sky flickers with blinding light
The rumbling sound rolls through the atmosphere

My spine shivers in fear
My blood fills with terror
My heart stops in fright
My pupils widen with dread
My eyes close in panic

Its over in second
The chances are low
The danger is so distant

Ok so I haven't had a journal entry in forever but I came to a bunch of random realizations in the past 3 months...

- I hate people who say things like forevs and adorbs...its ridiculously annoying

- Some people

- I can't write poetry, I just kinda forgot how...

- The radio is where all good music goes and dies

- I secretly wrote a story in 7th grade that describes my life as it is right now and found it last week

- I despratly want to learn to play guitar

- I always study the wrong stuff but it turns out fine

-Putting your phone through the wash is a bad thing, but if it s your ipod its perfectly fine

- Oh and finals suck
